Lakeland Steel Ltd is a privately owned registered company based in Rotorua, New Zealand.

Since the beginning this company has been deeply involved in the sawmill/timber industry, ranging from designing and building attachments for log loaders, bulldozers and other forestry equipment to the high tech sawmilling machinery and equipment used today.

Our range of machines cover all aspects in the sawmill industry. They include computerised defect saws, fully automated handling systems, stacking machines, unstacking machines, transfer/conveyor decks, sorting tables, strap & wrap machines, and our patented Lakeland Fingerjointer.

We continue to develop faster and more efficient machines with strong, long lasting materials to provide more output with less downtime. We have highly skilled and trained AutoCAD operators, designers and engineers to ensure our machines are constructed and installed to run at optimum speed.
